She is neither what she was, nor what she will become…..

Welcome to the liminal, what a place to be! I have really enjoyed exploring the concept of this space. Like most of us, I have spent some time there.

The liminal space is a difficult space to be in, not only because of a lack of understanding, but because of a new reckoning which has disrupted previous understanding. It’s the time when you are opening up to a new way of seeing things and the shift in conceptual state that will eventually come about will alter the person, permanently. Dealing with these moments in class can be exciting because they hold opportunity for immense growth.molim  As educators, our role is to encourage our students, show them that these moments are to be embraced. We can help them by guiding them along as they let go of the old, reconfigure, and ultimately embrace the new.
